The Challenge
KARTEE began in 2021 with a focused idea: make professional networking easier through digital business cards. As the product developed, its role expanded beyond a single use case to include tools such as email signatures, meeting backgrounds, QR code generation, link-in-bio pages, and Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support.
The original brand identity no longer reflected the breadth of the product or the direction it was taking. The challenge was to evolve the brand without losing its recognition, creating a more coherent identity and digital experience for a growing platform.
The Approach
BrandFather approached KARTEE as an ongoing brand-building partnership, connecting strategic thinking with the design and development of the product experience.
The work began with naming and brand strategy, then extended into the website and digital product. In 2025, as KARTEE had outgrown its original visual direction, we led a comprehensive rebrand. Rather than treating the change as a logo update, we reconsidered the identity as a connected system spanning typography, graphic language, digital interfaces, and marketing applications.
The Solution
The project began with the name KARTEE, inspired by the Arabic word for a card. The brand was then developed across its digital presence and product experience, with BrandFather responsible for website design and development as well as UX/UI and product design.
In 2025, we carried out a comprehensive rebrand. The wordmark evolved to incorporate the Arabic rendering كـــــرتـــــي alongside the Latin name, creating a bilingual identity. The typography was updated around a selected brand typeface, while the wider visual language was rebuilt through a new colour palette, icons, illustrations, graphic elements, usage rules, presentation templates, and marketing materials.
The refreshed identity was developed in parallel with the website and product experience, helping bring the brand and its expanding set of digital tools into a more unified system.
A Bilingual Identity, Built as a System
The 2025 rebrand introduced a bilingual wordmark pairing KARTEE with its Arabic rendering, كـــــرتـــــي. A selected brand typeface, updated colour palette, graphic elements, icons, and illustrations established a more unified visual language across the brand's applications.
One Brand Across a Growing Digital Platform
KARTEE's product experience extends beyond digital business cards to include email signatures, meeting backgrounds, QR code generation, link-in-bio pages, and support for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. BrandFather worked across UX/UI, website design and development, and product design to connect these experiences under the evolving brand.
The Outcome
BrandFather's work for KARTEE spans the full journey from naming and brand strategy to digital product design, website design and development, and a comprehensive rebrand in 2025.
The deliverables include a bilingual wordmark, a renewed visual identity and graphic system, brand usage rules, marketing and presentation materials, and the design and development of the website and digital product experience.
